Reservations & Policies

We are delighted that you are interested in coming to Heirlooms for Tea Time or your Special Event. We value you, as guests and friends, and we wish to bless you with fine hospitality. These policies allow us to better serve you each time you visit Heirlooms.

Reservations at Heirlooms

  1. Reservations are required for all events. Our patrons are given two whole hours to enjoy themselves in an unhurried manner. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis, so please call early to schedule your event.
  2. Heirlooms is available for private parties of a minimum of eight people to a maximum of approximately 30 people, depending on seating arrangements.
  3. The days and evenings available are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. The hours available are flexible, however events must conclude by 10:00 pm, as we are in a residential area. We prefer not to schedule events on Sundays, but will discuss special circumstances with you. Please Contact Us for more specific details.
  4. We require a minimum of 48 hours to arrange a Tea Party. This short notice will require full payment to guarantee for your group reservation.
  5. Once a month, our “Communi-Tea” event is open to the public, by prepaid reservation. This allows smaller groups to be seated at a private table and enjoy Tea Time at Heirlooms.

  • your name
  • your telephone number
  • your email address
  • the approximate number in your party
  • the date and time you would like to reserve
  • the group or special occasion that you are hosting

* If you were unable to reach us in person and you had to leave a message, please remember that a reservation request is not complete until we call you back to confirm. Once your reservation is confirmed, your reservation is guaranteed.

Pricing and Payment

  1. The prices listed are for a private event with a group of 8 people or more, with no other diners present except your guests.
    • Our standard 3-course Afternoon Tea menu is $20.00 per person:
      3 kinds of finger sandwiches; 2 warm scones with clotted cream, jam and lemon curd; and an assortment of petite sweets accompanied by three varieties of teas, one selected to compliment each course. We find that this is just the right amount of food, leaving you neither hungry nor uncomfortably full.
    • Our 3-course Evening Meal is $25.00 per person:
    • You may select your customized menu from our selection of Salads, Meats, Starches, Vegetables, and Desserts. Please Contact Us for more specific details.
  2. Gratuity and sales tax are included in pricing. Our tax rate is 6.5% and gratuity is 15%
  3. If your group is smaller than our minimum of eight people, you may order for 8, and we will be happy to package and send the extra servings home with you
  4. If you would simply like to rent our facility and provide your own food and tableware, Facility Rental Fees are $75.00 per hour. You will have the use of the dining parlors for two hours. The rooms are available for a longer period at $40.00 per half hour of time after the first two hours.
  5. If you would like Heirlooms to provide fine china tableware, flatware and glassware.  Rental Fees are $5.00 per place setting for setting, use and washing of all tableware.
  6. Wedding rates require many customized details, so please Contact Us for more details to discuss your unique requests, and we will write a detailed quote for your review.
  7. Please see specific terms by clicking on Group Reservation Agreement form OR Special Occasion Reservation Agreement form. You may print these forms, fill in your information, and sign and return it to us.

Additional Policies

Cell Phone Policy - As a courtesy to all guests, please turn pagers and cell phones off, or at least on silent mode while at Heirlooms. Please do not use cell phones in the dining areas. If you must receive an emergency call, please take it to the Powder Room for privacy, and to prevent disturbing other guests.

Refund Policy - All pre-paid reservations are non-refundable, apart from the exceptions noted below. If last minute changes do not allow you to host your party on your reserved date, any funds paid to date may be applied to a new date within 90 days of the original date.  If your event is cancelled, then all payments made to date are forfeited.

  • Inclement Weather - We care about the safety and well-being of our customers and staff, therefore, if local schools are closed in the event of inclement weather, we will also be closed. We will make every effort to contact anyone with reservations, and to reschedule your event.
  • Medical Emergency – If a guest had a medical emergency or family crisis on the day of their pre-paid event, Heirlooms will refund the cost of their reservation.

Children at Heirlooms - All guests must be 5 years of age or older – we are unable to seat children under five, including infants. We do offer Children’s Dress-up Tea Parties, with menu options that appeal more to a child’s palate. Please Contact Us for more information.
